Are You Where You Want To Be?


A Time for Review
This is the time when many individuals and companies take time to review business and personal events year-to-date. This reflection is used as an opportunity for evaluation, and the basis for future planning. When doing this partial year review, consider close scrutiny of your customer base, and keep in mind the well-known 80/20 rule.

I'm sure most of you know the basis for this rule, but for those who may not, I'll briefly explain. This rule states, 80% of your company's revenue, is generated by 20% of your customers. So, why not take this time to look at your customer base? Determine the "20% customers". These are the customers who should be receiving 80% of your marketing efforts, time, and energy. They are the backbone of your business.
